Samsung DLP Color Issue

I have a Samsung DLP HL-T6187s (the first series of DLPs powered with LEDs). Purchased exactly 2 years ago. Yesterday morning when I turned it on the color had a sever yellowish hue to it and the screen would flash every 30 seconds with a purple/greenish flash. I check all connections, satelite (HDMI), PS3 (HDMI), and DVD (RCA's) and the same effect was happening on all inputs. After a couple hours the flashing suddenly stopped, however the yellow hue is still very apparent. Any ideas on what would cause this and what would need to be fixed?

There were no adjustments to the color settings on the tv, I played around with them including reseting everything to the original settings to no avail.
