Can i make a Media Pc to replace my dbox?

Hi People,

Just wanting to know is it possible to make a Pc with a Cable TV tuner and have it also decrypt the channels using nagra. Also would HD also be an option with this kind of setup.

If it is can you give me a list of tuners, especially dual or more tuners if there available for this use.

And would i have to run linux or would it be possible to run a VM linux on windows 7.
