yep, but you need broadband aswell for the box`s to work
also only work in uk and area must be changed over to nag.3

I have had fixes from Afterdawn before for my eurovox max v and they have worked. I have now lost loads of channels, after doing every scan listed the channels are still blank. EG Films , music channels.
Can you help me this time with codes to download and do the flash

no codes will fix your box, nag.3 is the new encryption from
your tv provider
read up on the krypytview a780 or the starview.6

So this is like a satellite receiver e.g. Spiderbox, Technomate, V+Duo with ccam but also supports cable, even though cable is redundant?

I have read up on both these boxes and the a780 appears to be the better box but ive decided not to go down that route.Simple reason is everything is in my mothers name and wouldnt want her to get in trouble. We have decided to go with sly. My mum phoned vermin to finish with them and there was a 30 minute waiting time. My fear for everyone buying these boxes is that vermin may go bust and these boxes will be as useless as the old ones. I think vermins biggest mistake was switching to nag3.

Do you mean the boxes that work with sat dishes. I don't know much about them because we have always been with cable. But anything that connects to broadband puts me off because there's so many vpn's out there and the luck im having at moment id pick the worst one you av to pay for. Same with cardsharing, not sure how that works but i know its something else you have to choose carefully and know what your doing.I just want people to be aware vermin will go down hill because they are not able to do better deals than sly. There was a 10minute waiting time to sign up for sly so it gives you an idea of whats happening.

It is most likely that your area has now fully changed over to new encryption N3, and No there is no remedy for that nor is there likely to be, those boxes are no longer any use I'm afraid.

hi i realy need help asap please!
recently i have lost all the asian channels and now i have lost ESPN which i love watching footy like all men lol. has anyone alse had the same problem and does anyone know how to fix this please? i would be over the moon if i got them channels back especially ESPN, i tried the powerscan and other things but cant get them back. i am from birmingham and i have this box:

I have a couple of cable boxes, (Eorovox Max V & The Box PVR)which now do not receive any channels as they used to. As I'm living in Gateshead which is one of the areas listed as having changed cards to N3, does it mean that these boxes are now history or are there any updates avaiable. Alternatively, if the boxes are scrap are there any new boxes on the market to suit my area / N3.
Any guidance / help greatly appreciated

Cheers e45, thanks for the advice, but which would you recommend between the Kryptview 750, Kryptview 780 or the Starview 6.
Could I reuse the HDD from the Box reciever in a new reciever?

No mate you cant as there are no space for them you could always use the hdd as a external hdd just get a case for it
Get the Krypt A780 the A750 is old model

I can't really complain as I've had a good run out off last two. I'll go after the A780 as you suggested and see how long we get out of it.

Hi E45,
Only just got cash together to go for a new reciever. You suggested back in Sept that the A780 was the better box to go for. Is this still the case as I've now heard of the A790, mentioned in one the forums. I just want to go for the best box available to operate in the North East of England.
Your advice much appreciated,

No 790 was made for ireland and there is only the A780 to purchase for the Uk and yes still the best supported box on the cable scene at the present time
