HD PVR PROBLEM, PLEASE HELP

So i just got it, set it up. No problem
It shows preview on the arcsoft program but freezes afetr about 10 seconds. I then go to refresh and it says its in use or unavailable. I then have to turn off and on to get another 10 second preview. Any ideas/
