how to disable 'for your information' sky + message

I currently have a sky plus box with the old viewing card which is literally unwatchable due to the for your information message; "Please insert your new sky viewing card or visit skyviewinghelp.com'.

We did actually receive the new viewing card but its been misplaced by someone... so until someone phones up (not me I don?t pay the bill) to order a new sky card this is unwatchable. And we will phone them up eventually whenever my friend bothers too.

Anyway is there any way to temporarily disable these 'for your information' messages which are really really frustrating?
... amazingly enough I'V GOT THE MESSAGE!!!

Also i'v disabled the on screen message option under
Services> system setup> Picture settings> Message alert

but that hasnt helped as there still coming up.

hi glitchzoo you cant undo that info message unless you have the new card ... you better off gettin on to sky and getting ur new card asap bud it happen to my sister and she rang up sky and they had out the replacment card very fast hope this will help you in some way bud :):):):)

i can help i worked out a way to remove it
you need to book the what you want to watch first then red button
to auto view then when asked prees Select only works for the program you booked

hope that is some help for you
