Hello to all-

I recently bought a Liteon LVW-5005A & am planning to do some upgrades
& need some advice/instructions on how to prepare a Liteon dvd-rw
drive so that it will work in my unit. I was told by a man i know
that the dvd drive will need to be flashed b-4 i install it.
Does anyone here have any experience with Liteon 5005 as far
as upgrading the dvd drive ... ? A how to video might help too ...
I would greatly appreciate any help. I am also replacing the ide
cable with a 10" long round type cable, & may put some pc type
sound dampening material in the case to help cut down on noise ...
I am going to use a Liteon IHAP422-98 drive I found for $25.99.
