Had the "Please Wait" message, then powered down. Then no more power - totally dark. Had previously replaced capacitors 1270 and 1271 due to a different problem, unit worked fine for a year+.

This time when we opened unit back up, capacitors 1260 and 1261 were slightly bulged and one was slightly leaking. Replaced with 1000 uf, 35 V (Radio Shack part 272-1032) and unit is back up and running like a champ.

Learning - might as well replace all 4 the first time you go in. Also found the Radio Shack de-soldering tool to be quite helpful in removing old capacitors.
