I was using anyDVD with Shrink 3.2 to back up my grandkids purchased movies prior to giving them to them. they are 2 and 4 year olds. Needless to say the disks have a short life expectancy. I had great luck with the AnyDVD and Shrink combo but after installing Win7 my Nero burner wouldn't load so I was forced to install Nero 9 (win7 approved) with all its baggage, and now it seems shrink will not recognize it to burn. It will not even give me the line for "send to E". I was forced to use another copier and burn "full disk only" to dual layer disks. The glory of the original setup was that I eliminated all but the main movie, then burned strait to dvd as a backup without all the other junk files. Does anyone know of a one button way to set up a copier to just copy the main movie while using win7? Or better still, how I can get Shrink and AnyDVD to work happily in Win7. I also have CloneDVD bu it will not go one button either.
edit- i still use Nero 6.6.0.18 in Win7 (and on my XP machines), Win7 moans when you install Nero and when you want to run it, but it runs perfectly fine, for me anyways
Thanks CREAKY, re-installing a version of NERO I had on an old disk drive install disk resolved the problem. The new install is NERO 7 Essential and it works flawlessly in win7
Good stuff, i'll keep that in mind if i see any posts about Nero 7 in Win7 in future. Plus I should have said before that i only use Burning Rom, not the other parts of Nero, i'll go check that second link of mine to make sure it only mentions Burning Rom
