so here is the issue, for some reason these xmen cartonn dvd's are giving me lots of trouble.. the only thing that worked on vol 1 and vol 2 disc 2 was ripit4me...
with vol 2 disc 2, no matter what i do i get an error/incomplete rip.
if i try to use the built in ripper in anydvd it only rips vob 19
if i try it w/ rip it 4 me, without anydvd open, it opens dvd decrypter and at 94% it tells me i/o error, logical block address out of range..
if i skip/ignore errors, i then get "On-the-fly ifo/bup file pathing failed! reason: invalid ifo/bup file"
if i ignore those it finishes, and when dvd shrink opens its 1mb...
i tried it again w/ anydvd open it it seems to error more often, same error, but starts from the beginning.. i get a message that says that there appears to be encytpion on the dvd that shouldnt bet there, and if i want to try to crack it or continue w/o.. either way it errors out w/ invalid vobs
many other dvds work fine so i dont beleive its my burner.
went back to the store and exchanged the set, same problem with this disc 2.
i tried to google but couldnt find anyone else mentioning a problem w/ this set.. any tips?
Hi,
I use anydvd on mine and it work fine
You may need to get your money back
and go to another store and get a another
X-men dvd..
I use
Anydvd DvdShrink
DvdCrypter
Hope that help.......
must be the pc, i switched to a diff pc and it worked flawlessly.. ill hafta check out the dvdfirmware, see if there is an update or something... thanks for the info guys!
which log do u want? the ripit4me.txt? DVDDecrypter.txt? DebugLog.txt?
its not the burning thats the problem, it wont read teh dvd properly, just errors out.. tho it worked fine on a diff pc.. checked my drive and no firmware updates are avail from what i saw.. only stuff were some custom firmwares that looked too risky
