CD Ripper Pro major problems

This program stopped functioning completely. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it wouldn't work at all. Now it won't Autoplay period. I have an AMD Athlon (tm) 64X2 Duel Core Processor 5600= 2.81 Ghz 3.5 GB Ram.
I admit, my computer sucks, but this has been going on since I got the program. They wouldn't repond(of course). I need to find a good one step (if possible) program that rips my CDs or take .mp3 files from the hard drive and converts them and allows me to burn them or put them on my Nano.
Anything out there that works, I can afford (very broke), and does what I need? I like to actually see the titles and artist in lists not icons and Windows Media is a pain.
