Greetings Afterdawners, help needed. I keep getting these error messages. Burn: write error at 1040 (16) - code 03 OC OO [write error] and the next one is. Burn: WRITE FAILED: can't find write strategy sector 1056. I am using convert x to DVD V 4. Has anybody else had the same error messages and what can I do to stop these messages. I did uninstall and then re installed convert x to DVD V 4, same prob! Any help, cheers

This looks like a blank media error and this is normally caused by bad/poor quality media or try lowering your burn speed.Have you also looked for a firmware update for your burner.

Thanks very much for your swift reply. Will try your suggestions as I have not looked at an update for the burner. Nero10 runs in the background and yes I do get messages from Nero. Mentions fingerprints or scratches, but I can't see any at all!
