FairUse Wizard Stops Working - FU.exe Stops Working

Since the beginning of January 2013, I have not been able to use FairUse Wizard without it crashing on me with the message "FU.exe has stopped working". This happens normally when it is about to combine the video and audio. I have the exact same problem on both my desktop and laptop. Up until this problem, I have had NO problems with it at all.
I have heaps of space on my drives as I reformatted my HDD and reinstalled Windows 7 Ultimate with only AnyDVD and FairUse Wizard on it to try to solve the problem but that wasn't it. I have an i7 processor, 16GB of RAM and approximately 1.5 TB on my operating system drive and a similar amount on my data drive. Both drives have been checked and defragmented.
My laptop also has 16GB of RAM and an i7 processor. It doesn't have quite as much drive space, but still plenty and checked and defragged. I am absolutely frustrated and perplexed as to what has caused this. Can anyone help me please?

Not familiar with the program.
Does it create a log file?

It does (it actually has 2 - a fairuse log and a session log. The fairuse log file has as it last two entries the following -

which doesn't give any indication as to what is happening (it does the same on both computers). The session log has a HUGE amount of numbers which I can't make any sense of.

Yes, I have. I have tried administrator, Vista, XP SP3, versions 2.8, 2.9 and 2.11 as well as 3D and 3DR2. All give me the same message at the same time.

Anti virus turned off, safe mode???

Yes, I have had the antivirus turned off. As A matter of fact, one of the attempts I made to get it working was just after I reinstalled win7 and only installed anydvd and fairuse wizard - nothing else! And it still didn't work!!! It has worked for years - why now doesn't it want to? The only thought I had was regarding win 7 updates but by reinstalling, that wouldn't affect it. The problem I'm having is coming to terms with the fact that the program is behaving the same wY both on the notebook and the desktop and with various versions.
Thanks for the suggestion. I will try videohelp.
