I need some advice on how to get the .vob files I've ripped off of a dvd converted successfully to .avi, or .mpg format, then compressed into one file like the ones I download sometimes. I bought a dvd from a service online, and I have ripped the .vob files off of it, but I want to make it into one file instead of 3 so I can have a backup digital copy. Any advice or suggestions?

I've selected these first two as they create mkv or mp4 which allow you to transfer the audio 1:1 or convert to a lower bitrate as well,you can also add more than one audio stream up to 3 & the same with the subs
