what it says in the title basically. I got vob blanker to allow dvd shrink to read the toy story 3 files I'd ripped with dvd fab decrypter (successfully as it happens.)
Up until that point I'd got by fine with just dvd shrink, dvd fab and nero burning rom but in my stubborn determination to back up a copy of toy story 3 I tried a range of different programs which are now cluttering up my system- anydvd, dvd decrypter, fix vts etc.
I've got rid of most of them (they tend to be so small that it would be more efficient to reinstall them if I ever needed 'em again, but I can't see a straightforward way to uninstall vob blanker- the iobit unistaller i have that came with the advanced system care programme doesn't even recognise its there as a programme. I stupidly saved it to the desktop too so I have half a dozen extra icons scattered around. Is it just a case of deleting the files on my desktop or is this what the registry entries files are for?
One of the files in the download folder is a reg file to remove the settings.

I've got 2 registry entry files (i think):
Remove_VobBlanker_WindowCoordinates
and
Remove_VobBlanker_settings
do I follow through with both? does the order matter? I got scared off when I first clicked them and I got registry editing warnings- that stuff is a bit over my head!)
Use the 'Remove_VobBlanker settings' file, it removes the registry entries.
The warning is a generic heads-up to let you know that the entry is being removed.
apologies if I'm being really dense but I still don't really understand what I have to do- do I need to manually input the line [-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\jsoto's tools\VobBlanker] somewhere?
I've clicked the Remove_VobBlanker_settings icon but it didn't seem to do anything other than tell me that it had added to the registry and all the various vob blanker files are still on my desktop- do I just delete these manually?
sorry about this, I realise it probably should be a straightforward thing to do...
Yes, there is no 'uninstall' in the Control panel for VobBlanker.
The registry file we have been discussing, simply removes entries from the Windows registry.
The main application program is still sitting in the folder - you simply delete that folder and it's gone.
