Don't know if this is the right forum to be putting this, and apologies if it's the wrong one.

Anyone done it? Can you tell me what tool or tools to use please? I am on a PC.

Run AviDemux.
Drag the video onto the window.
Click the left-side Audio menu and select 'MP3'.
Click the top Audio menu and select 'Save'
Give the output a name that includes the extension- e.g. newaudio.mp3
