Hi Everyone
I'm new at this so here goes,
I want to store all my dvd's to my new external hard drive 2tb.
I need to know what programs i need and how to go about doing it so every little bit of info helps.
Also most are movies but some are series's aka CSI series 1-9 which hold approx 23 episodes.
I have 2 pcs so i will be going at this day and night.
Need any help you can give. Many thanks.

Before you start loading the drive you need to think very carefully about whether you need to store every bit of the dvd rather than just the episodes or the movie,a 2tb drive may seem big however at an average of 7gb per dvd that drive will fill up fast & if my math is right you'd be lucky to store 300 dvd's,you may need to consider compressing them into avi's of around 1gb (not sure if quality will be a prob as i haven't got around to ripping & compressing mine yet),anyway dvdfab platnum would be best for that as it has that function incorporated in it, so by using customization you can select which titles get included including menu etc,chances are clone dvd does it as well but i don't bother using it,i must get around to making use of it ..lol..
