I've noticed that while using CloneDVD, the time comes up for how long it will take to process, and it now says @70min where it used to only take about 30min to process. If I place it in another external drive from the one in my laptop, it says @30min. Is my DVD-ROM drive in my laptop going bad? Is that possible?!
Would it have anything to do with a firmware update or something along those lines?
BTW-its a Dell Inspiron E1505 laptop.
Thanks for any help!

You might want to check to see if the drive has slipped out of DMA mode into the much slower PIO mode.
