I am so confused about what to do about this problem. I had a linksys router that would connect to my iphone but once connected would not download any web pages. little circle would just spin and spin. my wifi on my iphone will work flawlessly on any other wifi (starbucks, public, etc) at home no luck. just got a brand new net gear router and same prob. obviously im getting some kine of interference at home. what kind of things should i be on the lookout for?

Nothing should completely block the signal if you are close to the router...have you tried disabling the router's security to see if it works like that? If it does, it will give you an idea where to start.

I don't know what happened but it finally started working. I moved a speaker that was right next to it and then it started working. put the speaker back and it still works. wierd. my linksys still won't work though. I think it quit working on the iphone about the time I updated the routers firmware. My laptop could still connect to it but it was touch and go half the time. As for security I dont ever have any I just don't broadcast my network. Anyway thanks for the responce!
