I am having an issue with one particular program (FFXI) and multiple network connections. Specifically I have two ATI Digital Cable Card tuners I use with WMC. These are considered network connections by Windows 7. If either or both of these are powered on while I am logged into FFXI I experience skipping in the game. I have gone through and have my router, firewall and computer all setup with the proper port forwarding setup and rules but it still occurs. I originally thought that shutting down WMC would work but it does not. If I unplug the tuners, even ingame, the problem disappears immediatly. It appears everything else works fine but the FFXI app seems to have trouble with the multiple network connections. Any ideas would be appreciated. I have been considering buying a Ceton 4 channel tuner to replace them but havent done so yet. Its kind of an inconvenience to have to log out to record something, defeats the purpose of having a DVR.
