I have a custom cumputer with windows XP SP3 on it. I am having problems with shutting my computer down as when I shut it down it starts itself back up after 2 seconds of being shut down. I have asked the local computer expert and he told me that Utorrent to causing the problem but I have never had any problems with Utorrent and even after doing everything he told me it still wont shut down so I'm asking for any advice that may help with this problem. Any advice on this matter will be greatly appreciated

You might have a virus.

Why would utorrent turn your computer back on? That does not sound like an expert statement to me.

I suggest you run malwarebites in safe more using the administrator ID. If you find viruses. Test again a day or so later to see if they come back. If they do you need a cleaner from Oldtimer that purges several areas where virus 'seeds' get stashed. You run that before or after malwarebites.

It is likely you are hosting a bot net and the bot net has completely taken control of your computer so you can't even turn it off.

Custom computer you say? Are you positive the front panel is wired properly? sounds like the power button functioning like the restart switch.

If you are getting any error code then make analysis about that and seach for the resolution. This behavior of system may crash your PC. So perform immediate action to prevent from further crash.
