hey guys

have bought a 6950 and flashed it to 6970 clocks. 880/1375 clocks

card runs like a dream. however; while playing games for more than 15-20 mins my screen will split.

this is how it will show up on my monitor. read picture comments.

it has only recently done this as ive upgraded my drivers to 11.2 and 11.3 ati drivers as i was getting low fps with BO with the old ati driver (not sure what one)

im sure that its the display driver. i've been monitoring the temperature and even max the fan speed sometimes but all seems normal

any help would be great as i want to play games for longer without it buggering up

specs are
i5 750 oc with aftermarket cooler
8gb 1600mhz ripjaws
antec signature 850w PSU
ati 6950->6970 clocks

can only bump once every 24hrs not twice in less then 3hrs. next time edit your last post as per forum rules.

try another monitor to see if still does it or not as i think that is a monitor issue.

this is also happening to me while playing games, only the second time its happen, i decided to take a look online to see if its a common thing, and apparently not.. i have the same video card as you and is flashed to 6970 aswell. i get temps of around 50c while playing under load. this only started happening after i reformatted my pc. i have a second videocard in my computer which is running my second display so i know it has something to do with the card, the new driver that was released... maybe it has an issue with the unlock who knows..
