Hey, I just bought psx to usb adapter so I could play with the pc. I have ps2 controller but the adapter is ps2/ps3 suitable, so when I connect my ps2 controller, my computer says its ps3 controller and the epsxe doesnt work with ps3 controller?

I tried to change the status of the controller in devices and there properties but it doesnt aknowledge this is an ps2 controller, can anyone help? Im new to these emu stuff
