so today i tried to transfer a file from the external drive out to my internal drive to burn. It went incredibly slow, like 1MB per sec or less. So later on i tried sending another file from the internal drive out to the external and went at a blazing 70mb per sec.

My question is what gives?
-both drives fully defragmented
-the external usb drive is on "performance"
-DMA is active
-i tested the drive with "seatools" and it failed but im confused why the in speed was way faster than the out speed.
