I have Dell Studio XPS 13 running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit edition.
I'm having problems with my e-sata/usb combo port. I purchased a 1TB Lacie d2 quadra external hard drive, and it was not being recognized by my computer via the esata connection. After upgrading from Vista to Windows 7, it worked. A few days later, however, it no longer works via e-sata, only via usb. I tried uninstalling the few drivers I had installed since it worked, but my pc still will not recognize the external drive when it connect it with the e-sata cable. It does not appear in device manager or disk management. Does anybody have any advice?
