fatality f-190hd motherboard usb 2.0 ports not working

hi my fatality f-190hd motherboard has usb 2.0 ports but when i go to device management it says i have standard ports.when i plug in a usb 2.0 device it tells me this port could opperate faster.meaning its only detecting them as 1.0 or 1.1 any ideas please its very frustrating.transfer rate is 1mb per second.any help would be appreciated cheers

is there an exclamation mark or unknown device in device manager as you need to load the usb2 driver so it will show up as usb2 enhanced host controller?

no no mark at all just says standard.they should be 2.0 i dont get it.

1 will be usb2 enhanced host controller & the others will be usb universal host controllers. what is the chipset of that motherboard as in intel, sis, via, amd, nvidia or ati?

it says standerd openhcd usb host controller there is 5 of them even tho i have 6 usb ports
