Has anyone had this problem with a flash-drive?

A few weeks ago I posted a question on here because I was using a new 16GB flash-drive I recently bought at The Source as a back-up for files and I leave it in the computer all the time. I moved a few files from one folder to another on the same drive, and then I could not open a Word document and an Excel file ? which greatly bothered me.

Today I saved about 40 images from my camera to folders on the drive and later those folders were empty. I still have the images on my camera card, but other folders that I created about a week ago were also empty and those pictures are gone forever.

I?m thinking it must be the drive?
