hi, i just recently bought a new mx518 gaming mouse from logitech. i wanted to configure the buttons to generic mouse button so when i play a game i can use all the buttons on the mouse. but because i comes with preprogrammed actions like back, forward, increase dpi, decrease dpi, and whatnot, when im in a game changing settings it wont work. the game doesnt seem to recognize the buttons as mouse buttons and instead will increase the dpi in the game menu and not even assign it as a key for the game.

is there a way to make the special buttons on the mouse become normal buttons? because frankly, this "gaming" mouse isnt so great for games if all it can do is change dpi settings on the fly, and putting all those extra mouse buttons to waste. any help will be appreciated
