is there such a thing as a wireless monitor? would it be recommended? just asking cuz I"m trying to decrease teh amount of CRAZY wires surrounding my computer right now. thanx.

Not yet! No there's no such device as yet but an enterprising person such as yourself could be the first to bring it to the masses, make it user friendly and consumer affordable and make a canyon of cash to boot!

okay, silly me I was thinking they'd have one that had like those tabs you plug into it, sort of like wireless keyboards and mice. high hoping,huh?

The closest thing to what you're describing is an AIO type pc or mac. All in one's are nice for those who are looking to avoid the spaghetti look from wiring. The monitor, pc/mac are all one unit. From there you could add a wireless printer and even wireless speakers! This option is a bit pricey though...there's no cheap option that I've seen.

Actually there is it's called a TV assuming it uses an aerial :p
