I was wondering if someone could help me out with figuring out if I'm getting the full performance from my EVGA GTX-285s, I have 2 of them, one is a Classified which I think is 702mhz (rather than the standard 650) and the other is a FTW which is 720mhz. I tried running 3dmark06 and I do get a bump if I have SLi turn on but it just doesn't seem that much faster with the 2 cards then the FTW did on its own. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but in Modern Warfare 2 for example I do get jagged frame rates at times (even is SLI). So, I was wondering if you guy have any ideas for a definitive test to see the performance difference between running the FTW alone of the SLi setup (because if there's not much improvement then I might as well give the Classified to my brother, this way he'll at least get a big jump compared to the graphics card he currently has). I have a Asus p6t Mobo and a i7 920. I'm running vista 64 with 8 gigs of 1600mhz mem but since I need a new CPU cooler (as the stock one barely keeps the boat afloat) I'm just running at the normal 1033 (or something like that). For some reason my system just feels too slow for the hardware I have. Sometimes even using the web feels slow, when I scroll up or down websites I get what feels like 3 fps and I have FIOS and this happens on sites like yahoo not no names. Does SLI just improve frame rate at higher resolution? I also have my vista up dated and the newest Nvidia drivers. Sometimes I have so so frame rate when I just move a window around real fast. I'd really appreciate any ideas you may have.
P.s. My SLi is running at 702 as by default it slows to the slower card, I can OC it with software EVGA provides to the 720 but then I run it heating problems as these cards are sitting on top of one another and help to heat each other up. I've learned never to buy "factory OC" cards as all they do is OC them like you or I would and just charge you more for it.

Thanks,
Sebastian
