I recently got a computer from a friend who wiped it clean before giving it to me. i think she used dban to do it. Now when I go to install an operating system it says 'no hard drive detected'. How do I fix this so I can install my op system? Thanks in advance :)

open the side panel and see if it has a Harddrive in it. we'll go from there.

what windows are you installing & what type of drive is it as in ide or sata?
