Pen Drive Problem

I used an 8GB Pen Drive, as i was setting up 'FreeNas', in which the instructions issued me to use at least 2GB of space on a Pen Drive.

I no longer needed 'FreeNas', so therefore i plugged my Pen Drive into my Windows 7 OS PC, and it said 'format now etc...' so i did, and now i only have 942 MB of space.
