I have a
Truck generator supporting PCs & a server.
Server is on UPS.
PCs & ethernet switch are not.

I been getting some strange behaviour from the software while the generator is running full tilt.
We occasionally get brownouts or lights flickering when a domsetic appliance is connect ed and occasionally randomly, you can even hear the generator labouring when this happens.

Anyone shed anylight on the implications, is there a an issue with ehternet switches if thers a powerdrop off. Do pcs loose the connection to the server.

Whats the best way to monitor the enthernet connectivity in realtime.
