Hi, My computer eMachine W5243 and it has a 512KB L2 cache... Is it possible to make it higher without any problems? I haven't tried it because i think it would really f*** the computer... So what should i do, Make it higher or leave it? if you said higher, what should i make it?
You can't change it, L2 cache is a physical attribute, like RAM, however it's built into the CPU. To 'get more' you'd need to upgrade to a different CPU.

I could change it in registry? I just find the L2 Cache and put it at 1MB? also what do you mean i cant change it?
No, it's a physical thing, like having a 500GB hard disk. You can't just go and make your hard disk bigger, you would have to buy a new one. The same applies to L2 cache.
Trying to change L2 cache in the registry is like saying 'I can be 10 feet tall, I just need to learn how to do it', it's complete madness.
LoL...you could always mess with the registry until it displays the wrong number. It wouldn't help performance, but at least you could brag to your brother about your laptop having 50TB of L2 cache.
