Setting RAM at 1866MHz with 1.65v...

I set my RAM at 1866MHz with 1.65v but IDK if it's ganna work on an 1.7-1.9v RAM... Is there's ganna be some problem to my comptuer or not as RAM is at stock(1866) and voltage has been lower to 1.65v... I have a i7-950, ASUS SaberTooth, and Kingston KyperX 1800MHz 1.7-1.9v... I just wanna know it's ganna damage anything and i'll check if it's stable soon and what would you recommend of a software to check memories for stables?...

Any reason you lowered the voltage below factory specifications? Normally when you INCREASE the work its doing you INCREASE the voltage.
stability test
1. goto this page http://www.memtest86.com/
2. find the free downloads
3. Download the windows iso image
4. burn it to a CD
5. insert the disc into your computer
6. restart it and make sure you set your computer to boot from disc
use CPU-Z to monitor things
EDIT---i see why you say 1.65, cuz the website says do that for intel and go higher for AMD.

What do you mean by Voltage is increased when i set it at 1.65v??? How it changed? I set 1866MHz at 1.65v with no problem so far as will as 100% memory test with MemTest free edition software... How is it that the Voltage is set over 1.65v?

Look at the time on my edit of my last post. You say you have RAM rated at 1.7-1.9 and you set it at 1.65. I didnt understand why. I do now. Use CPU-Z to check it.

CPU-Z doesn't tell the current voltage nor speed(I didn't see 1866MHz and i didn't see 1.65v)

maybe it doesnt show voltage, its been awhile since i needed it. it does show dram frequency under the memory tab

What exactly have you done so far to set memory timings?
The RAM's stock is 1800MHz which i couldn't see the BIOS and so i set it at 1866 like a days ago... 1866MHz is not any different drom 1800MHz(It's close so who give a F*** about how different it is when it's so close) BTW is the Everest software an ADA64 or?

Yes ADA64 is the new version of Everest. Remember not to leave it running in the background too long as it develops a rather bad resource leak. After a couple hours your PC will start to slow down.

You just close it in task manager.

It makes a big deal in the grand scheme, i would tell you why but your attitude makes me say who give a F*** also.
if you dont know or care about the difference how will you ever learn how things work and why people tell you to do certain things to fix the problems you cause yourself?

Evverytime someone said it makes a different, it jsut irritate me... How BIG is the diffrent if it's just by 66MHz fast? It's like a noodle with a bit too much sauce in it which dont even make a big diffrent...

about 3.6% difference & when adjusting in mhz not khz then that is big.

This is not home cooking this is sensitive precision electronics. If things aren't set properly, they will not work right, period.

i am afraid to really start getting in depth with my responses because simply trying to help brings about those type of responses in this and other threads I've had the good fortune to see.
Kingston website shows single channel, double channel, and triple channel RAM at 1800 AND 1866 speeds.
Asus Sabertooth shows a triple channel x58 mobo and a double channel p67.
There are so many variations just right there with how things could be setup that we cannot help anyway without knowing more. but whats the difference anyway right?
Computers---It's like a noodle with a bit too much sauce in it which dont even make a big diffrent...
