Why does it show my CPU usage at 100% when I only have 1 program open?

Your going to have to do better than that by including all relevant detail it could be not enough ram a piss poor slow hdd,a stuffed up registry setting or any multitude of other things,doing a web search would go along way to narrowing down the cause & shouldv'e been first port of call
