Hello everyone, I thought that this forum will be help for me about all the technical stuff for my PC, and consoles, and I did sign up in here.
As for my question, it's as it is you see at the topic title.
To get perfect speed and graphics at the games on my PC, I thought of this project for a moment, but... is it possible, I mean, is it possible to plug an Emotion Engine (with or without soldering) on a PC motherboard, and even if it's done, would a PC handle the Emotion Engine?
Any kind of answer will be of help, thank you all :)

if your referring to the Cell processor the PS3 uses then yes, Windows Server Advanced can run on the PPC architecture.
No you can't just pull it out, not unless you've designed Your own Motherboard and have Machine like soldering skillz.
Also you must realize the engineering concept behind A PC and a embedded device are worlds apart in design.
one other thing why would you want to both the PS2 and PS3 are capable of running Linux as they are.
if they can run linux. with code modification to the MS core (which by the way if Microsoft ever caught you you'd be in jail for life and a lawsuit that would affect your childrens childrens grand children.) sure MS could run on a PS3, hell the PSP can run MS95.
Theoretically, like if you own a video card company, then yes, you could put an emotion engine on a PCIe card...and if you had millions to spend on the project, you might be able to make a "emulator" software that uses the add-on emotion engine. However, it would probably be a lot easier to just write a good PS2 emulator and do it all in software; maybe with a bit of help from Cuda. However, I think there would be a lot of issues with Sony if you ever tried to sell it.
