I'm using an old MPC TransPort T3200 atm, and it came with the fingerprint reader that has a TouchChip Fingerprint Copressor(WBF advanced mode). The only problem I have with it is during the initial bootup before Windows even loads, it asks me to scan my finger. My fingerprints don't work and I don't know the original password, so I have to fail the fingerprint scan 3 times (and the majority of the time, I have to scan my finger over and over just to get it to read my fingerprint enough to tell me it's the wrong one) and then I have to enter an incorrect password three times before it'll boot into Windows. After that, I have it disabled in Windows, but for some reason, the software doesn't control the BIOS boot of it. I've used the software that came with it to enroll my fingerprints and use my own password, but they only work in Windows. I've been through the BIOS settings, and nowhere in there does it give an option to disable the initial fingerprint security. Anyone know how I can disable it completely so it never asks me for a fingerprint or password?
