Yamaha UX-16 USB to Midi help.

I wasn't sure where to put this.

I recently installed the driver for my UX-16 on the computer, and hooked it up to my PSR-275 turned on the PC Mode on the keyboard. The power light on the UX-16 is on, and the MIDI IN light is constantly on just like the power light. So I know it's being recognized, but no matter what program I use the UX16 is not shown on the list of available MIDI devices.

There aren't any suppliers near where I live, so I can't swap hardware with another one. I have contacted Yamaha saying all of this and obviously they didn't help since all they told me to do was select the Device in the options of the program I want to use it for. I have even contacted Ableton to see if it was anything to do with the program and they too didn't answer my question.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the driver many many many times using the version of the driver on the disc, and the newer one on Yamaha's website.

If anyone is having the same problem, or knows what to do about it please help.
