Hi, I have tried to burn a multigame iso using imgburn to my DVD-R, the writing seems to have succeeded.
But during the verification, however, I get the following message:

I/O error!

Device:[0:1:0] TSSTcorp CDDVDW TS-L633C TF20 (D:)(ATAPI)

ScsiStatus:0x02
Interpretation: Check condition

CDB: 28 00 00 05 6A B6 00 00 01 00
Interpretation: Read(10) - Sector: 354998

Sense Area : 70 00 03 00 00 00 00 0A 00 00 00 11 05 00 00 00 00
Interpretation : L-EC Uncorrectable error

this problem happens at 17% through the verification, the iso has 4 games in it, and its size is 4.2 Gb while my DVD-R has 4.8Gb, so enough space.
The same problem happened when I tried burning a single game.

I did a little research and some threads said that it could be the disc's quality, but its a brand new one and I've tried on not only one of them, the brand is memorex.
I also tried verifying with all applications closed, but nothing changed :S

Here is my log from imgburn:

I would get some Verbatim DataLife disks and try them in preference to the CMC/Memorex.
(don't get the Verbatim 'Value' series).

Thanks for your reply

Ok, do these also sell in canada ? And I have heard people who burned on memorex without trouble are you sure this could be the only problem ?

Staples sell them.
Look for 'Advanced AZO' on the package.
To eliminate the disks as the problem, you use a known-to-be-reliable brand that most any DVD burner is primed to burn without problems.
You can also use imgBurn to check the firmware version of the burner and have it check for an update (Tools > Drive > Check for firmware updates...) - my preference is to change firmware as a last shot - but that's me.

theres no real point "verifying" a burn.. just a complete waste of time.. because a physical disk has to be full sector completion whereas an iso file for burning can be any length at all.. the burning app pads out the missing data with "00" bytes to complete a sector.. changing the eventual checksum.
