Okay so I got a new PS22 slim for christmas. Yippee, so i try to mod it 5 hours later after opening it, i do have some experience but, when trying to block the sensor behind the on/off button. I started to get frustrated because It would not work so I shuved on it very hard and it broke off.. the front sensor behind the on/off button is completly mising and has definitally been swept up by mom since then. Is there anything i can do? Please help me thanks =].
Btw its a slim 79001 silver ps2 slim.
If you need any more info just ask, and please help.

If your talking about the reset switch pcb, then you can just purchase a new one and replace it




Or are you talking about the switch you have to tape down




If its this one, you can solder a wire across and fix that too work.
Just check my profile for info on that.

Thank you, do you know where i could possiby purchase one? and yea im taking about the reset switch. wel not the switch. the sensor behind it.and i heard some method of puting alluminum foil there? but im too afraid to try as i dont wanna get electricuted lol

I would just check ebay for one. Or estartus.com

I am not sure why you had it apart for that part, as all you needed to do was put a piece of tissue or sticky tack in there like shown below.




You may want to check youtube or search on the aluminum foil thing or soldering.
I have fixed the lid sensor by soldering a wire between the two connections. Not sure exactly where you broke it without pictures.
