I've had SM for about 4 years now and Ive never had this problem until recently. To start, SM sometimes likes to load up (it spins, stops, starts spinning again, etc) but that's the least of my worries as I can get to the boot screen after a couple of resets. My main problem is in the boot screen; whenever I try to take the SM disk out of the tray the laser immediately starts to read the disc causing it to spin on its own locking me out of using the load program option. If I manage to get passed that when I try to put my own game in the tray the same thing happens. Any suggestions?

This is on a slim PS2 just in case if there is confusion.
