I've been reading through the forums for a couple days now and can't seem to find the exact answer I'm looking for. Forgive my noobishness.

I have swap magic plus 3.8 coder, along with the plastic parts (a,b,d) installed onto my ps2 slim. As far as I can tell they are installed correctly because the disks load and spin when the lid is open.

I have a few ps2 iso files which I THINK are ready to burn... Seeing as how this is new to me perhaps I'm missing something. All of the files are over 700 mb so I have been using dvd-r media (sony 1x-16x).

EDIT: I've tried using alcohol 120, ashampoo, and dvd decryptor to burn the image files. All with the same result. Please note that these isos are from ps2 games that I already own, the relics that they are. I've decided to start playing back ups because these games are getting harder and harder to find ( my disgaea 2 doesn't even work anymore)

My swap magic dvd disk seems to work fine, I get the menu and everything. My problem is when the ps2 tries to boot the game after I put it into the console. It goes from the booting media screen to a black screen and the ps2 seems to try loading the disk indefinitely.

I'm not sure exactly what the problem is, the analog lights on the controller even light up after the games loads a little. Its almost like I'm just not getting any audio and video from the disk.

If there is anything someone can think of that I'm doing incorrectly I'd really appreciate the help.

I do not have a mod chip or free mcboot, only swap magic and the tool kit I got with it.
