I am running Free McBoot on my ps2. I have no modchips and don't use swapmagic. I'm not sure what other specs I need (oh, but it is a ps2 fat) and here is my problem.

I have been trying to use a backup of action replay EVO MAX 3.32 but when it starts to run it cycles a few colors on screen, then gets to red and stops and will not change. I tried using memento to patch the iso and burned it at the slowest speed using disk utility. everything goes off without a hitch until I put the disk in the ps2 and launch it with ESR. I am new to this, so any help is appreciated. I am also willing to try an suggestions or alternative softwares to the ones I am using for either my ps2 or my computer. Thanks in advance!

AR Max can be a bitch to run as a back up, if at all, your best off trying to get hold of either CodeBreaker 9.3 up (patched) or Swap Magic Coder, which has a built in cheat device and can use AR codes
