Can't rip a certain game, help?

I've made backups of about 20 or so of my old games so I know how to do it properly. I bought a worn out copy of WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2009 and it works fine but the disc is in terrible condition, so I literally need to make a copy. When I pop it into DVD Decrypter it goes to about 20% and quits on me. I also tried another program, I can't remember what it was called right now but I also got an error saying it couldn't read some sectors. So I need some advice, is there anyway to fix it or not?

you can try buffing the scatches out of the bottom so the burner can read it
