i have downloaded guitar hero world tour iso from the net for ps2 and burned it on dvd5 using dvd decrypter but the dvd isnt rotating in my ps2 meanwhile other cds do rotate and work fine. this is my first to burn a dvd so am not quite familiar with errors. all wat i have done in decrypter is choose MODE >> ISO>>WRITE and chose the iso for guitar hero and it burned. is there anything am missing? laser error? but if it was laser's error other cds wouldnt work right? or is it because its a dvd? any suggestions

Was it a DVD5 image you downloaded or a DVD9 game.

For DVD9 image you need a Verbatim DL DVD+R disc to burn it too.
Best to burn it at 2.4x speed.

For DVD5, depending upon how new your burner and discs are. It is safest to burn at 4x

i burned it on DVD5 on 1x speed since i heard that the slower u burn the cd the better quality u get. anyway i will try again using 4x. thanks for the help. i will notify you if it doesnt work.

it didnt work again with 4x burn speed. the cd rotates normally for a moment then it starts making some noise not noise like loud noise and cracking voice but its like something is hindering the cd from rotating. it still rotates then i get into the browser and after few seconds it says "the disk could not be read" and the cd stops rotating.

So you are sure its a DVD5 ISO image. What is the file size of the image?

What version is your PS2? It could very well be your laser.

If it won't play any DVD games, but will play CD it could need cleaning or replacing.

What brand of DVD-R are you using?
