Ok, ive been having this problem ever since i upgraded my PC(It does the same thing on my Laptop, though i never used it to make isos before just thought i check to see if its a problem with my DVD burner in my Desktop). Always pops up when ever i put a ps2 backup/original in.
This shows up in the log-
I 12:04:40 Found IFO File: VIDEO_TS.IFO - (LBA: 138 - 138)
W 12:04:40 On-the-fly IFO/BUP file patching failed!
W 12:04:40 File Name: VIDEO_TS.IFO
W 12:04:40 Size: 2,032 bytes
W 12:04:40 Reason: PatchIFO failed.

I 12:04:59 Found BUP File: VIDEO_TS.BUP - (LBA: 139 - 139)
W 12:04:59 On-the-fly IFO/BUP file patching failed!
W 12:04:59 File Name: VIDEO_TS.BUP
W 12:04:59 Size: 2,032 bytes
W 12:04:59 Reason: PatchIFO failed.

I can still make ISOs will go through and finish making it, but i was wondering if i should just ignore it/ or if its a problem and will mess up iso for backups?.

Are you are using DVDDecrypter or IMGBurn?
When you go select the Mode Tab, it will give you options:
FILE
IFO
ISO > READ > WRITE

You are stuck on IFO. When i put a DVD Movie in it automatically selected that format.
You just need to check ISO Read or Write.

Yeah, i've had it set on ISO > Write. Tried switching it to ifo then back to iso, still had the same thing though.

I notice DVD decrypter will give that message if I try to read a disc that has been patched with esr disc patcher.

If you use imgburn you won't get that message.
You can have both installed, I do.
