DVD Ripping Without A Computer

I am currently using a my macbook to backup some of my dvd's using Ripit. I am able to have it set so that when a dvd is inserted it starts ripping it on its own. I was wondering if there is anyway I could install Ripit to a jumpdrive with the same settings, so that I could simply plug my jumpdrive into an external dvd drive and rip dvd's to the jumpdrive without a computer.

Only if RipIt can be made portable, i.e needs no installation and can be ran as is
