God of war freeze in save !!!!!!

ive burned the first god of war(DVD5 NOT DVD9) a week ago.the game was playable and i saved the everytime.when i reach Pandoras Palace and i try to save,the screen stucks and the only thing i see is the save image before the saving menu.the music continue to play but everytime i try to savein that part of the game this thing happens.Is there anything can i do???And the most importand it stucks beacause of the DVD5 rip???Is there any other way to play that game and games that are in DVD9???
