Help with Swap Magic 3.6 DVD & Flickering screen

I recently bought Swap Magic 3.6 DVD and whenever I pop it in, I either be sent back to the browser screen or it would freeze after it shows the ps2 logo. I also have flickering pixels whenever I start up the ps2. How do I fix these problems? Thank you for your help!

That use to happen to mine a lot, but then for some reason it stopped. Do you have a Slim or a FAT? FAT seemed to do it more often than a slim. It might be your sensors I just switched to a HD but still keep the SM handy just in case
