MGS2: have .iso and .mds, boot through McBoot and ESR?

I got a direct rip of MGS2 Subsistence, but apparently I have to burn it with the .mds file because it contains the layer break info. Would patching the .iso with both the ESR patcher and Toxic Dual Layer patcher allow me to play it with McBoot and ESR?

You mean MGS2 Substance. I couldn't get it too work with ESR but some say it can be.
I did get it too work with memor32
